Ty Allen

Ty has a variety of professional experience that has prepared him to be a co-founder of claimed.ai. First, he has spent a number of years in the start-up space, interning with early-stage companies as well as starting a business of his own in 2020. As a product management intern for COMPAS Global Technologies, Ty was charged with the development of a novel software that involved analyzing stakeholder input, designing sprint cycles, overseeing offshore development and debugging new features. In his personal venture, Ty built a novel business model utilizing social media to promote unknown artists. The endeavor involved the management of a global team of 30 interns, frequent pitches for funding and business partnerships, and led to over 100k in revenue. Outside his start-up experience, Ty has worked with larger firms as a project manager overseeing large scale data transformations that developed his knowledge in data organization and cloud integration. Claimed.ai will require the development experiences, business ingenuity, and overall start-up mindset to be successful. Outside of professional experiences, Ty has research exposure that directly influences the technology of claimed.ai. For his MIT Master’s thesis Ty is building a large language processing model that extracts a text summary from legal documentation. The models he is building will be a foundation for the software that understands an insurance policy. In addition, he has worked on a number of machine vision projects such as using massive NNs to detect emotion from facial images. The skills needed for machine vision research will directly apply to analyzing pictures and videos of damaged items. The combination of technical background, product management experience, and fast-paced working mindset puts Ty in a great position to be a part of claimed.ai.
